2010 CENTENNIAL QUILT CALENDAR
This 2010 calendar celebrates the
Woods Hole Public Library's centennial and features images from
the Woods Hole Community Quilt, which is displayed in the Library's
stairwell. Designed by children's book artist Salley Mavor and
Terry McKee, a Library board member and long-time quilter, as
a benefit for the Library, the quilt was stitched during 2006-2008
by a group of accomplished local quilters. They worked individually
on squares and together on the quilting to depict prominent buildings
and seaside scenes that represent the charming village of Woods
Hole, Massachusetts.
Calendar price is $12.75 with tax. With shipping, the price is $15. To order,
download a quilt order
form and mail with check payable to the Woods Hole Public
Library. Please allow four weeks for delivery.
Proceeds of sales and donations related to the quilt augment the Librarians'
Recognition Fund. |
